XRechnung 3.0 e-invoicing for Germany
Public authorities in Germany, and more and more companies, ask for the invoice as a structured e-invoice. BilgeERP produces the XRechnung file for every issued invoice; you download it together with the PDF or attach it to the email.
- XRechnung 3.0, EN 16931, UBL 2.1
- Leitweg-ID and USt-IdNr. fields
- German interface and documents
What is produced?
XRechnung is the German implementation of the European e-invoicing standard EN 16931. BilgeERP writes the invoice in this standard as an XML file in UBL 2.1 syntax. The file is prepared for issued invoices and credit notes.
- Tax details of seller and buyer, USt-IdNr.
- Leitweg-ID for public-sector buyers
- Items, VAT rates and VAT breakdown
- Payment details: IBAN, BIC, due date
How is it used?
The Leitweg-ID and the VAT identification number are entered once on the customer record. After the invoice has been issued, the XML file is downloaded from the invoice page. To add it next to the PDF when sending by email, it is enough to tick a box.
- One-click download from the invoice page
- PDF and XML together in the email
- The same invoice can be read by people and processed by machines
For companies working in Germany
When Germany is chosen as the country profile, the VAT rates are 0%, 7% and 19% and the prefixes of the document numbers are German (AN, RE, GS). If DIN 5008 is chosen as the letterhead layout, the recipient address fits a window envelope.
- DIN 5008 letterhead layout
- Account codes with SKR03 defaults
- Public holidays of Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- Servers in Germany
Frequently asked questions
Is ZUGFeRD supported?
No. At present only the XRechnung (UBL) file is produced; the ZUGFeRD format embedded in a PDF is not available.
Is the XRechnung file sent to a portal automatically?
No. You download the file or send it by email; uploading it to public-sector portals is done on your side.
Is it the same as e-Fatura in Turkey?
No. XRechnung is the standard in Germany. BilgeERP currently has no integration with Turkish e-invoicing (e-Fatura / e-Arşiv via the revenue administration, GİB).
Which plan includes it?
The XRechnung file is part of the invoicing module and carries no extra charge.
